Preset Remarks

Preset Remarks allow you to save time writing repetitive remarks manually while performing day-to-day tasks, whether it's stocktaking or making a sale.

Setting Up Preset Remarks

To set up preset remarks, go to Settings -> Apps Settings -> Preset Remarks .

To create a new remark, click the plus sign, key in your preset remark and select the type you wish to apply from the available options.

There are five remark types to choose from:
1) Stock In/Out,
2) Stock Take
3) Pay In/Out
4) Receipt
5) Order

In the screenshot, we've created a preset remarks "Serve later" , and selected "Receipt" and "Order" remark types.

Order Remark

For example, customer wants the Strawberry Cheese cake to be served later.

By default, waiters will be able to key in remarks on orders manually.
Now that we have created preset remarks "Serve later", you may select it from the hamburger button on the right of the input box as shown in the screenshot below.
This helps to speed up the ordering process.

You will be able to see the hamburger button when you have the preset remarks setup.
Since "Serve later" is set for Receipt and Order, the hamburger button will be visible in this order input box.
Else, if there is no preset remarks set for the current remark type, the hamburger button will be hidden.

Screenshots below shows the placements of hamburger button when preset remarks have been set for the the rest of the remark types.
